The credentials of a firm,
the care of a partner.
If your books are behind, tangled, or somewhere you'd rather not look, you're in the right place. This firm was built around the projects most bookkeepers try to hand off — cleanups, migrations, and the kind of mess that needs an Enrolled Agent's eye, not just data entry.
Meet Amber Pierce, EA
The person who reconciles your accounts is the same person who signs your return.
I didn't set out to be "the cleanup person." I built that reputation one tangled file at a time — accounts nobody had reconciled in a year, co-mingled transactions nobody wanted to sort out, a QuickBooks Desktop file everyone was afraid to touch during a migration. Somewhere in there, I realized untangling the mess and rebuilding it right was the work I was best at, and the work most businesses couldn't find real help with.
That background includes deep, hands-on experience across the QuickBooks and Intuit product ecosystem — including time spent as a Tier 2 QuickBooks subject matter expert, troubleshooting the kinds of technical, edge-case problems that don't show up in a basic bookkeeping course. I bring that same depth to every migration, every setup, and every cleanup I take on.
I hold the Enrolled Agent credential, which means I'm authorized to represent clients directly before the IRS — not just prepare a return and hope it holds up. Alongside that, I carry a paralegal background, which shapes how I read engagement terms, handle documentation, and think about risk. I take that seriously, because your books and your return aren't things I believe in guessing on.
Outside of credentials, here's what I actually care about: you should be able to look at your financials and trust them. Not squint at them. Not hope they're close enough. Trust them. That's the standard every engagement is held to, whether it's a single cleanup project or a long-term monthly relationship.
Credentials & certifications
The formal side of what backs up every engagement.
What I specialize in
The work I actively seek out — not just the work I'm willing to do.
How I work
The approach behind every engagement, big or small.
No judgment, ever
I've seen every version of "behind" there is. I'm not here to make you feel bad about it — I'm here to fix it. What I do need in return is honesty about where things stand.
Fixed fee, quoted up front
Every engagement starts with a clear quote before any work begins. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no invoice that doesn't match what you agreed to.
Continuity, start to finish
The Enrolled Agent who reconciled your accounts all year is the same person who understands what your return should look like — no handoff to a stranger at tax time.
Let's take a look at your books, together.
The first step doesn't cost anything and doesn't commit you to anything — just a clear conversation about where things stand.
