How tax prep works with us

A clear path from books to filed return.

1

Confirm entity & scope

We confirm your entity type, prior-year filings, and any open items, then quote your fixed fee up front.

2

Prepare & reconcile

Your EA prepares the return using your reconciled books, resolving any questions with you along the way.

3

Review & file

You review the completed return, invoice is settled, and we file electronically on your behalf.

Good to know

A few things that shape how tax preparation works at our firm.

We are not a CPA firm and do not perform audit, review, or attest services.
Tax advice and planning discussions are part of sessions specifically engaged for that purpose — general bookkeeping sessions don't include tax advice.
Our Enrolled Agent is authorized to represent clients before the IRS. Representation is a separate engagement from return preparation.
We prepare returns for U.S. businesses only and do not currently serve clients with exclusively foreign tax obligations.
Not a bookkeeping client yet? Tax preparation goes smoothly when your books are already clean and reconciled. If your records need work first, a cleanup engagement may be recommended before we can prepare an accurate return.
